Craigslist Interface Redesign

Task:

Choose a website-based interface to examine and collect user research based on their experience. Formulate screens and suggestions of how to improve the information architecture, layout, and style of the interface.

Results:

This interface as it is filled with data listings, yet it's not visually pleasing and it's difficult to comprehend. I conducted surveys of a general audience's opinion and researched why the current interface has not changed much over time. I created a user journey map to show the successes and frustrations when navigating the website. The low-fidelity screens of the redesign suggest minor color additions, accessibility improvements, noticeable headings, and dropdown options to reduce cognitive load.
